The revolutionary spirit of his era characterizes Beethoven's "Eroica" as well as the "Triple Concerto" for piano, violin and cello, written shortly afterwards, in which a first-class trio of soloists shines. Plus the mature Piano Sonata op. 54: Beethoven 'in his prime'!
