In the organizer's words:
Korean cuisine delights with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a wide variety of tastes. In this cooking class, you’ll learn about typical ingredients and spices and work together to prepare traditional dishes and side dishes such as bibimbap, kimchi, and other Korean classics. Along the way, you’ll learn fascinating facts about Korean food culture and get plenty of practical tips for cooking at home. No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity and a love of cooking together.

We’ll cook together:
· Bibimbap – rice with six different vegetable toppings
· Cucumber kimchi
· Tofu with bulgogi sauce
· Wakame seaweed salad
· Hotteok – stuffed pancakes with cinnamon and nuts
Water is available free of charge during the class; other beverages will be billed on site.

Korean cuisine has been a part of Sung-Hee Kim’s life since childhood: as early as 1975, her parents opened the first Korean restaurant in northern Germany, in Hamburg. Today, she enthusiastically passes on this culinary heritage—authentic, warm, and perfect for everyday cooking. Let her take you on a culinary journey!
