Our exhibition 'Women Artists as Protagonists' highlights Barbara Gross's outstanding commitment to women artists, to their visibility and presence in museums and major international exhibition projects, in documentary films and ultimately in the canon of art history. In doing so, Barbara Gross never excluded her fellow artists, but also stood up for artists such as Leon Golub, Boris Mikhailov and Rémy Zaugg.
