KRACH IN KALK: Tellarek, Silk, Abfahrstamt
In the organizer's words:
Noise in Kalk
On August 1, there will be some noise—by order—at the Kulturhof Kalk.
Open-air concerts featuring three bands, accompanied by an official noise measurement.
Start: 6 p.m.
End: 10:00 p.m.
Live: SILK, Tellarek, Abfahrtsamt
Abfahrtsamt
Thomas Hopf (drums, including Damo Suzuki Band, Sofortkontakt, Yellow Sunshine Explosion)
Anna Lenser (bass)
Mik Quantius (vocals, violin, keyboard)
Three virtuosos coming together for the first time—and exclusively for this evening—to make some noise.
Tellarek
is a duo from Cologne consisting of Pablo Santamaria Navarro on drums and Ahmetcan GökÇeer on bass, loops, and effects, playing instrumental post-rock with influences from noise, prog, indie, and electronic music. By combining composed pieces with improvised passages and Tellarek’s unique sound, their set is full of energy and surprises.

Silk
is a newcomer band from Düsseldorf that plays alternative punk rock. Inspired by artists such as Wolf Alice, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Fontaines D.C., their sound is powerful and direct.
