Independence, self-sufficiency and individual freedom seem to be the order of the day. In this lecture, Sigmund Freud's and Melanie Klein's theories will be used to examine the psychoanalytical significance of the empirically indisputable negotiation of dependency.
A critical theory of the subject shaped by psychoanalysis must include the dimension of aggression in the discussion of dependency. This is illustrated by the relationships of contemporary society, for example in romantic love relationships.
This event will take place on the 2nd floor of the shared flat.
