The young singer/songwriter Paul Holland (UK/GER) currently lives in Berlin and moves musically through a twilight of indie and folk, infused with the faded colors of the 70's with dark offshoots of Americana and Westcoast. His British roots in the form of his father fueled his love of music. The goal: organic sounds & lyricism, full of quality and substance. Like a record that you still like to put on 20 years later.

His songs are like nocturnal journeys without a destination - somewhere between flickering streetlights, fleeting memories and the quiet urge to move on. It echoes the melancholy of Leif Vollebekk, the fragile intimacy of Kings of Convenience and Passenger, while the dusty expanse of the Eagles and the raw power of Kings of Leon pile up in the background. His voice carries a fragile intensity: sometimes a soft, almost disintegrating whisper like Jeff Buckley, sometimes a dark, looming rumble like Chris Cornell.

Over the past two years, Paul has been on the road almost non-stop - drifting from stage to stage, night to night - sharing the space with acts such as The White Buffalo, Jesper Munk, JJ Grey & Mofro, King Hannah, Soul Asylum, New West, James Hersey and Noah Derksen.
