In the organizer's words:
Since 2011, the Knippschaff has been performing in pubs and venues throughout the region, winning over the hearts of their audiences. They sing and play Cologne classics as well as lesser-known musical gems penned by lyricist and composer Hans Knipp. After leaving the Bläck Fööss, Bömmel Lückerath and Kafi Biermann became permanent members of the ensemble. The Knippschaff is dedicated to his musical legacy and brings both well-known and lesser-known songs by him back to the stage. It’s not all about Carnival, but by the end, everyone is singing along and swaying to the music when the accordion, guitar, and bass kick in.
