The French dance fresh cell cure is back: following the world premiere of AGE OF CONTENT at the 2023 Summer Festival, the choreography trio (LA)HORDE is now presenting its next stage overpowering with the Ballet national de Marseille. APRÈS MOI, LE DÉLUGE (After me, the deluge) deals with a world on the brink, in which bodies form resistance and use the means of art to imagine the unimaginable: an afterlife, an alternative, a better world.

As always with (LA)HORDE, this resurrection from the apocalypse is created with pop-cultural and dance-historical references ranging from ballet and postmodern dance to musicals and TikTok dances, reflecting (LA)HORDE's extended artistic approach. In addition to directing the Ballet national de Marseille since 2019, this includes museum exhibitions, fashion shows, world tours of pop stars (currently for Rosalía), and stage work with street dance ensembles. APRÈS MOI, LE DÉLUGE, which will tour Europe after its German premiere in Hamburg, is (LA)HORDE's sixth work at the summer festival with their largest stage design to date: a cathartic piece for twelve dancers that shakes the foundations of the world so that joy can arise.
