Lara Ermer's first full-length solo program "Sugar Jokes and Whip" is a humorous drumbeat. Ermer playfully addresses social zeitgeist issues. Whether it's sexism in everyday life, her own inconsistency in a more sustainable lifestyle, or the lunacy of women's pants pockets and luxury camping - Lara Ermer devotes herself to the content that moves the world in an unflinching and factually sound way. She knows what she is talking about and invites us to look at life through her eyes for an evening. With loving acuity and virtuoso tempo, Ermer gives the audience a brilliant roller coaster ride through the absurdities of everyday life. Sometimes mercilessly pointed, sometimes wrapped in sugar-sweetness, Lara Ermer questions many of the things we take for granted in our society.
