Leipzigs Frauen: Talent, Mut und Tragik (Stadtführung)
In the organizer's words:
This city walking tour is dedicated to selected women from Leipzig’s past and present. Among other things, you’ll meet Europe’s first professional female photographer, learn how a poem by a woman from Leipzig achieved worldwide fame, and discover what connects Herbert Grönemeyer to Clara Schumann.
The portraits of these women take you to well-known and lesser-known spots in downtown Leipzig. Experience a broad panorama of female creativity and perseverance, set against the opportunities and limitations of their respective eras. Let this inspire you to follow your own talents and convictions.
