Lesung I Queer Voices | QFFM
In the organizer's words:
Performative reading and discussion about the importance of queer artistic voices today.
In times of multiple crises and increasing queer hostility, being heard is not only political, but vital for survival. So what is left for us? Come together, join forces, celebrate resistance, raise our voices. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Queer Film Festival Munich, the QFFM team invites queer artists to present their work, encourage each other and make queer voices heard. In a performative reading, texts, voices, artistic statements, music and conversations interweave to form a collective assemblage: a political gesture of sharing, telling and listening. Let's gather. Let's recharge. Let's raise our voices. Because the struggle continues - and we are going to need each other. Afterwards, the voices of the audience will be heard at a get-together in the Habibi kiosk: with food, drinks and space to be.
