MINIONS & MONSTERS tells the wild, zany, and—of course—absolutely true story of the Minions and how they take Hollywood by storm, become movie stars, lose everything, unleash monsters on the world, and then heroically set out to save the planet from the very chaos they themselves have caused.

In the more than ten years since their first appearance, the Minions have become the ultimate cult animated characters of their generation. Known around the world and loved by fans of all ages, Illumination’s *Despicable Me* and *Minions* franchises have grossed more than $5.6 billion at the global box office.

MINIONS & MONSTER is directed by Oscar®-nominated director Pierre Coffin, who previously directed the first three *Despicable Me* films and the first *Minions* movie. Coffin has also been the voice of the Minions since their film debut in 2010. The screenplay is written by Brian Lynch (Minions, the *Pets* films) and Pierre Coffin. The film is produced by Chris Meledandri, the Oscar®-nominated founder and CEO of Illumination, and Bill Ryan (executive producer of *The Super Mario Bros. Movie*).
