Good evenings rarely announce themselves. You go somewhere without great expectations and only realize in the middle that you're staying. Because the music carries you. Because the room reacts. Because suddenly everything fits together.

THE SALT BAND stands for precisely these evenings. Live music in Leipzig that isn't slick, but has punch. Songs that you know, but hear differently because they happen live and are not canned. Energy that doesn't need to be explained because you can feel it immediately.

We are not interested in show effects, but in presence. It's about moments when the audience and the band are on the same frequency and nobody knows exactly where the line is. You go out later and all you know is: that had substance.

Admission is on a donation basis. We would be delighted to receive a contribution of around 5-10 euros per person.
