Directed by Alex Mello, this production by the Asphalto theater group of the Bonn Association for Assistance to Vulnerable People reimagines the Loreley myth—in a moving, poetic, and highly topical way. The play focuses on issues of exclusion, visibility, and social participation.
What makes this play special are the people on stage: Many of the performers bring their own experiences with homelessness and social exclusion to the production. Together with director Alex Mello, they’ve created a production that combines personal stories with artistic expression—and shows how culture fosters connection and nurtures empathy.
Demand was so high that, thanks to the Kunstmuseum Bonn, we are now offering an additional performance.
