The profound storyteller and Dreamville artistLUTEis coming to Germany for the first time in September 2026 for a headlining tour! With his unique blend of introspective lyrics, soulful beats, and authentic stories about family, struggle, and hope, he’ll be performing inBerlinandCologne.

Lute, born Luther Nicholsen in Charlotte, North Carolina, is one of the most versatile voices in modern hip-hop. His career began as part of the rap collective Forever FC before he was signed by J. Cole to the influential Dreamville label in 2015. 

His debut album, *West 1996, Pt. 2* (2017), established him as a poetic chronicler of everyday life, weaving personal struggles and the joys of fatherhood into compelling stories. He achieved his international breakthrough with the platinum-certified hit “Under The Sun” on the Grammy-nominated album *Revenge of the Dreamers III*, where he shone alongside J. Cole and DaBaby. In 2021, he solidified his status with the acclaimed album *Gold Mouf*, a work that impressed not only with features from heavyweights like Saba, JID, Ari Lennox, and Westside Boogie, but also with production by Big Pooh and Big Dho, as well as creative input from Phonte on the sequencing. 

Lute’s music is characterized by melodic, soul-tinged productions and lyrics that are both vulnerable and powerful—a rarity in today’s hip-hop landscape.
