Every Thursday in August, we present great Hanoverian FLINTA* musicians* on Andreas-Hermes-Platz as part of the Summer Lounge 2026. Today on stage:Margarita Stellar plays her guitar in classically inspired dream worlds and sings stories of the battle between light and darkness. Inspired by legends, magic and the night sky, she explores the hearts of humanity in a disarmingly honest way. She lovingly describes her style as fairytale pop. With influences from pop, folk, jazz and classical music, she creates her own intimate world live with just guitar, voice and effects, which listeners describe as "magical".Amapola's songs move between intimacy and vastness. They capture the intangible essence of feelings: constantly changing and fleeting like light dancing around us. Their lyrics unfold like a gentle dreamscape of luminous melodies and blossoming emotions, where each note lingers like a ray of light deep on the soul. Opposites meet in the intimacy of her soundscapes: day and night, closeness and distance, lightness and heaviness as well as the quiet beauty of black and white. Her pieces invite us to discover the gentle, intense world of these in-between spaces, where feelings, as fragile and powerful as life itself, can be deeply felt and freely shared. Since 2014, Hanover has held the title of UNESCO City of Music, making it part of the international network of Creative Cities. Topics such as gender equality, diversity, the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and respectful, peaceful coexistence are at the heart of the UNESCO Cities of Music network worldwide. The "UNESCO City of Music Summer Stage - FLINTA* on Stage" series on Andreas-Hermes-Platz will make these values visible and tangible as part of the summer lounge.
