Martin Sasse Trio plays „Trio Classics“ and „American Songbook"

The trio around Martin Sasse, one of Europe's leading jazz pianists, has existed in various formations for over twenty-five years. Their first album "Here we come" (2000) received excellent international reviews. In the current line-up, Martin Sasse has been playing with Martin Gjakonovski on bass and Joost van Schaik on drums for several years. The three musicians frequently work together for concerts and recordings with international jazz greats such as Peter Bernstein, Vincent Herring, Harry Allen and Steve Grossmann. The album "Good Times" with Charlie Mariano received the German Record Critics' Quarterly Award in 2010.
