Costume design in film is crucial for character development and visual storytelling. Costumes situate the plot in a specific time and culture and contribute to the authenticity of a film. They help to visualize relationships between characters, depict developments and create iconic, unforgettable images. From POLICE CRIMES to science fiction with a star cast, Cologne-based Ulrike Scharfschwerdt has been dressing actors and actresses for film and television for over 25 years. At this year's FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE, her costumes can be seen in ZEIT VERBRECHEN: DER PANTHER and VON UNS WIRD ES KEINER SEIN.
