Want to watch the solar eclipse tonight, but don't want to be alone? Then join us and be part of the very first MEETwoch Field Trip!

This once-in-a-century event is best spent with cool people who are interested in making real connections.

And as the saying goes: “Those who experience a solar eclipse together will be best friends forever.”—or something like that...

So today, we’re spontaneously moving the ever-popular MEETwoch from the Social Studio outdoors.

More specifically: We’re taking a trip together to the Volkssternwarte Köln e.V., getting to know each other better on the walk there over a cute, fun drink and interactive games, and then experiencing the highlight of the century together. Totally casual, without any annoying small talk or awkward silences. 

What do you have to do? Not much, really...

Be at the Social Studio at Friedrichstr. 63 in Zülpi by 6 p.m., grab a cute, fun drink, make your name tag, and wait for more lovely people to show up. 

At 6:30 p.m. sharp, we’ll set off at a leisurely pace (at a brisk march if we’re running short on time) on foot toward the Public Observatory (about 25 minutes, 1.7 km). Along the way, we’ll get to know each other and share our cutest stargazing stories. 

Starting at 8:30 p.m., we’ll head back to the studio (on foot or by taking Line 9) and then wrap up the evening in a cozy atmosphere until 10 p.m.
