Modeselektor consists of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, two of the most influential figures in German electronic music.

Since the mid-1990s, the Berlin-based duo has been exploring a range of genres, including techno, hip-hop, bass music, electro, and experimental club culture.

Known for their genre-blending approach and their high-energy live shows, they have earned a worldwide reputation as innovative producers and DJs.

They gained international attention with albums such as *Hello Mom!*, *Happy Birthday!*, and *Monkeytown*, as well as through numerous collaborations with artists like Thom Yorke, Apparat, Tommy Cash, and Paul St. Hilaire. Together with Apparat, they also form the project Moderat.

In 2009, Bronsert and Szary founded the Berlin-based label Monkeytown Records, which has developed into an important platform for electronic music. Their productions and DJ sets combine club energy with musical openness and reflect the creative diversity of the Berlin scene.
