There are very few artists who can basically play a complete concert exclusively with No. 1 hits - Phil Collins is one of them. Phil Collins is undoubtedly one of the greatest figures in rock and pop history. First in the 70s as the drummer of Genesis, where together with Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford he defined what later caused a worldwide sensation as progressive rock or art rock. Then in the 80s, after Peter Gabriel had left the band, the most commercially successful phase of Genesis began with Phil Collins as frontman and singer.
