Since September 2023, the Jewish medieval cultural heritage in Erfurt has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dr. Maria Stürzebecher and Dr. Karin Sczech, who have been researching Jewish Erfurt intensively for many years, provide a lively insight into the Old Synagogue, the mikvah and the everyday life of the medieval community. Together with Dr. Tanja Potthoff from the MiQua team, they will discuss the many points of contact with the medieval Jewish quarter in Cologne and answer questions from the audience.

The MiQua:forum in the Red House at Alter Markt opens its doors every Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm. In addition to information about the museum project and the short programs offered by MiQua scientists in the afternoon, additional new offers will introduce the topics and research work of MiQua: VR glasses, a selfie wall, an image gallery and showcases.
