LA BANDA RUPO - Ritmo Latino from the Ruhrpott
A few years ago, a rousing salsa band under the direction of Rafael Hidalgo was established in the Ruhr region.
Musicians who have been playing Latin music for many years in various other ensembles have come together to interpret new and classic salsa pieces.
A strong brass section, Spanish-language vocals, a hot, rock-solid rhythm section and authentic percussion come together to create a captivating, danceable salsa that keeps everyone on their feet for long.
