„My Uncle Jen’s“ - Eröffnungsabend der 10. Kurdischen Filmtage Leipzig

Akam, a young literature teacher, lives a peaceful life in Oslo until his estranged uncle from the Iranian part of Kurdistan comes for a surprise visit. Although space in his shared apartment with friends is limited, Akam feels obliged to invite his uncle to stay for a few days. However, his uncle quickly feels at home and shows no signs of leaving anytime soon. Torn between his sense of familial duty and the growing tensions in the apartment, Akam begins to suspect that there is more to his uncle's visit than just a casual getaway.
