New Year's festival

Kulturbunker, Korsi & KiMe present the Equinox Art Festival.

Spring is quietly announcing itself. The days are getting longer, the first flowers are blooming and the gray veil of winter that has settled over things, people and nature is slowly disappearing. We sit together at the Haft-Sin, reflecting on the past and thinking about the future. Despite all the heaviness that currently surrounds us, we want to use the magic of new beginnings and spring to come together with the sweet taste of hope and celebrate Newroz together. Dancing around the fire, we will drive away the darkness of winter and welcome the light of spring.

Come along, let's celebrate new beginnings together.

• Exhibitions: "KABUK - Hülle" Ali Osman Yanak on change, identity and self-determination
• Figurative drawings: "Body and Poetics" Setareh Karimi
• Poetry: The blossoming hope Presented by Kanax4Life and Korsi
• Concerts / Live Acts: Soudabeh Samiei (Santoor) // Fouad Samiei (Tar) // Zainab lax (Harp)

• MaZeli Quartet: Nure Dilovani (violin) // Nurullah Turgut (percussion) // Merdan Zirav (bass) // Zelal (piano & vocals)The MaZeli Quartet reinterprets deeply rooted sounds of Kurdish and Armenian music.

• Mustafa Demir (Saz- Baglama) & Aziz Yiğit (Bilür shepherd flute) fuse the rich heritage of Kurdish music with modern electronic sounds.
• DJ sets: Aamiro (Miaan Art / Refugee Worldwide) // Midani & Rān (TIBA) // Mani (Timcheh)

The Equinox Art Festival 2025 is a collaboration between Kulturbunker & Korsi & KiMe. The proceeds of the evening after deduction of the costs incurred will go to Kinderhilfe Mesopotamien Köln. Kinderhilfe Mesopotamien supports disadvantaged children with humanitarian aid in crisis areas such as Turkey, Syria and northern Iraq.
