NightWash was awarded the German Comedy Award for "Best Stand-Up Show" in 2016 and is considered THE springboard for comedy newcomers in Germany. The philosophy of the format includes the discovery and promotion of previously completely unknown talents. For the thirteenth time, NightWash is looking for young talents and new faces in the form of a competition as part of the Cologne Comedy Festival. The NightWash Talent Award is one of the most renowned and popular competitions for comedy newcomers in Germany. Comedy stars such as Felix Lobrecht, Tahnee, Chris Tall, Enissa Amani and Özcan Cosar made their first appearances here.
Ten talents compete against each other in two semi-final shows and the audience decides who they would like to see again in the final. Votes can also be cast online. The shows will be streamed live on Germany's biggest comedy platform MySpass from 7 p.m. onwards!
The Talent Award shows will be presented by host Luisa Charlotte Schulz and musical sidekick Ben Schafmeister!

In addition, admission for young people under 16 years is only allowed in the company of a parent or guardian!
