The Oktagon collective was founded back in May 2018 to promote subculture in and around Dachau and create alternative cultural offerings for people. They are currently in the process of founding a non-profit association. With their events, they want to appeal to people who are young and young at heart, regardless of their origin, religion or similar. Their focus is on organizing affordable events that are accessible to everyone and where everyone feels comfortable and safe. The collective is characterized by an unmistakable do-it-yourself style. At their events, they use self-built speakers, light installations and decorations. In this way, they create a unique atmosphere that has already inspired visitors at over 100 events.
