Siren Sisters Soundsystem invites you to the next Omega Dub Circle at Feierwerk: Dalarna Dubz from Dortmund will perform on 13.04.24, Siren Sisters will also play a strictly vinyl selection from roots to steppas and MC Treasure Irie will perform on the mic.
DALARNA DUBZ
Dalarna Dubz was founded in 2023 out of the motivation to combine Consciousness, Equality and Positivity with Dub and heavy Steppas.
"The three of us, Freddy and Cureen with support from DubFairy Laura, are on the road to spread good vibes for the culture we love and live. From roots to steppas, with little surprises such as our own productions and live bass, we weave a colorful, bassy carpet of sound."

SIREN SISTERS SOUNDSYSTEM
Inspired by Rastafari, the sound system culture in the UK and Jamaica, CATITAH STEPPAH and SISTER SIREN play deep roots, meditative dub and heavy steppa. With their selection, the two want to stimulate thought and touch the soul, while at the same time highlighting social grievances and expressing their resistance to the Babylonian system. Firmly rooted in roots, with great respect for the originators of reggae, the two vinyl enthusiasts have new releases and dubplates in their luggage alongside roots classics. Their own sound system is more than just a set of speakers and amplifiers. It is a platform and creates a space to meet and exchange ideas, listen, connect, dance, heal, meditate and celebrate.
Since 2008 SIREN SISTERS have been organizing their own sessions at Feierwerk, Munich, since 2023 the new regular OMEGA DUB CIRCLE. In particular, they want to empower and encourage other women to express themselves artistically and create a greater balance in the male-dominated scene. Since 2008, over 100 artists have played at their sessions, including Jah Vibes Soundsystem, Sista Habesha, Roots Daughters, Sista Awa, Dasha Fyah and Jazzmin Tutum. Both sisters are part of the Munich-based women's collective LIONESS AWAKE.
