Open-Air Kino: Alpenland
In the organizer's words:
The museum garden becomes a movie theater: Together with the Austrian Cultural Forum Berlin, the MEK is presenting an open-air film series focusing on people, landscapes, and ways of life in the Tyrolean mountains.
To kick things off, we’re screening the documentary “Alpenland.” Set against the backdrop of working alpine pastures in Austria, small villages in Italy, and tourist centers in France and Bavaria, the film follows people who live and work in the Alpine region. The result is a multifaceted portrait of a region that spans several European countries and faces unique ecological, economic, and social challenges.
Before the film begins, you can visit the special exhibition “The Mountains of Tyrol,” which will remain open until the screening starts.
Drinks and snacks can be purchased on site at KAFFEE. BlümchenKAFFEE also offers picnic baskets filled with Tyrolean specialties. Pre-order the “Tyrolean Family Basket” for 20 euros per person or the “Bretteljause deluxe” for 35 euros per person atinfo[at]esskultur-berlin.de.
