In the organizer's words:
open excess stands up for both: rousing jazz and the opening of jazz concert stages in Germany for more diversity and artists with disabilities. As spontaneous as jazz itself, the three musicians Lucca Keller (p), Torben Schug (b) and Till Menzer (dr) from open excess came together for the first time for the RoboLAB Festival 2021 at Odonien in Cologne and discovered their shared fascination for music that is created in the moment. The combo's trademark is their exuberant and witty joy of playing.
