Marenera brings the energy and expressiveness of southern Italian folk music to the stage. The ensemble is dedicated to a lively musical tradition that is closely linked to dance, ritual and festive occasions.
Their repertoire includes traditional dances and songs from various regions of Italy, with a focus on southern Italy. In addition to instrumental dances, they also perform stornelli - traditional love and work songs that are still passed on orally today.

Faber & Jones is an acoustic music project full of poetry, passion and musical depth. The duo unites the Sardinian singer and guitarist Faber Sanna with the German multi-instrumentalist Jonas Willenbrink in an extraordinary musical encounter between the art of Italian song and modern acoustic sound aesthetics. At the heart of their program are the great stories of Italian songwriting - above all the poetic world of Fabrizio De André, but also songs about love, freedom, longing, society and humanity.

The musical program will be accompanied by Dirk Großer, who will express the sounds of the concert in images as part of an artistic performance.
Dirk Großer's work is interdisciplinary. In his installations, actions and social sculptures, he explores the concept of freedom. In participative formats, he creates open situations in which visitors are invited to play an active role. These works deliberately dissolve the boundaries between artist and audience, so that freedom is not only discussed, but can be experienced performatively.

The Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, the Palais Sommer will take place on Dresden's Neumarkt from June 20 to July 26. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.
