PERSONAS

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

Emerging from a rhythmic, intimate dialogue, sound and movement come together as “Lovers”—sensual and existential. This encounter gives rise to diversity, for every layer of sound and every play of light in the space invites something new.

Each character is unique and complete in and of itself, yet exists amidst a bustling whirlwind of transformation.PERSONASis both private and universal. Drawing on beauty and absurdity, the performance unfolds an intuitive play of the imagination.

A masterful work … original, bold in the creation of a multi-layered language … at once foreign and strangely familiar. And also unflinching: anger, pain, fear, the shadow of war … surreal, intense, moments of eerie silence. – Dino Mahoney (poet, performer, teacher, and animal rights activist)

PERSONAS breaks with the rules of traditional dance and reshapes them into something authentic, strange, and unforgettable. The movements were unpredictable, marked by emotional tension and flashes of absurdity. At times playful, at times unsettling, PERSONAS explores the theme of identity without dictating its meaning to the audience. Every turn, every stumble, every gesture, every voice, and every sound seemed both spontaneous and deeply deliberate. –Kathrin Wintermeyer(Business Administration: International Marketing & Management)

Emerging from a slow-paced, intimate dialogue, sound and movement encounter each other like lovers, sensually and existentially alert. A merging gives way to multiplicity... as every sound layer and illumination of the space invite further entities in. Each character is singular and complete within itself, coexisting in a hive-like activity of transformation. PERSONAS is both private and universal; it provides beauty and absurdity with common ground for a visceral play of the imagination.

A masterful piece....original, boldly creating a multi-layered language...both alien and strangely familiar. Raw, too—anger, pain, anxiety, the shadow of war... surreal, intense, moments of eerie stillness. – Dino Mahoney (poet, performer, teacher, animal-care activist)

PERSONAS broke the rules of traditional dance and reshaped them into something raw, strange, and unforgettable. The movements were unpredictable, layered with emotional tension and flashes of absurdity. At times playful, at times unsettling, PERSONAS explores identity without spoon-feeding meaning to the audience. Every twist, stumble, gesture, voice, and sound seemed both spontaneous and deeply intentional. – Kathrin Wintermeyer (International Marketing & Management)
