UNCHARTED

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

Joy cannot be taken for granted—it often arises under fragile circumstances. In UNCHARTED, the new production by the DAGADA dance company (Artistic Direction, Choreography: Karolin Stächele), a group of friends enters the “Sphere”—a nonlinear space where past and present overlap—through a rift in time. Within this unstable structure, fleeting moments of joy without purpose reveal themselves—detached from productivity, success, and permanence.

Between moments of coming together and falling apart, the four dancers explore how time and community can be continually reshaped. Through transitions reminiscent of zoom-ins, temporal overlaps, and jump cuts, they distort linear time and enter spaces of memory. Time expands, overlaps, and fractures. Within these fractures, the performers re-experience present actions and sensations. The past becomes tangible in a different way and reveals the present as something that is continuously in the process of emerging.

In a world shaped by fear, efficiency, and the logic of survival, Karolin Stächele and her ensemble explore the question of how much joy we are still capable of experiencing and imagining.
