The Pierce Brothers are coming to Europe in the course of their now 10-year band anniversary - and are making a few stops in Germany. They just came out of the Home Studio, where they recorded their third album - but the stages seem to attract them almost magnetically. No wonder, because the Australian duo consisting of twin brothers Jack and Patrick Pierce, have spent the last 10 years anything but standing still, but playing sold-out concerts all over the globe and boarding the festival stages. They have toured with Tash Sultana, Broken Bones, Tones and I, The Cat Empire and many more. And anyone who has seen the Pierce brothers live knows the energy the two brothers can bring to the stage.Their journey began in their hometown of Melbourne. Playing street music, the two, just like the now world-renowned acts Tash Sultana and Tones and I, first appeared on Bourke Street, in the middle of downtown Melbourne. Shortly after, they released their EP "The Night Tree" in 2015, with which they had their breakthrough and played the first festivals. Now a known quantity in the indie folk scene, they not only bring melodies to sing along to the stage, they hit right to the heart with their lyrics and quiet acoustic ballads are also firmly anchored in their program.
