"Psychoanalyse trifft Film": MOMMY

Resolute Diane loves her 15-year-old son Steve more than anything, even though he drives her mad and to ruin with his extreme outbursts of rage and violence. Since his father's death, Steve has been through a series of homes for children who are difficult to bring up. Now he comes back to his mother because no one else can cope with him. With his demanding claim to the role of man of the house and his exuberant love for her, he puts his mother to the test. Yet even without her unruly son, Diane has long been overwhelmed with herself and the world. In her efforts to master her fate, she unexpectedly receives help from the taciturn neighbor Kyla, who manages to create a balance in the mother-son relationship and give rise to a tender hope for a happy future after all.
