Queer-friendly Poetry Slam by anytainment

Anytainment is back! After last year's success and high demand, we are bringing back the poetry slam with a new twist.

The evening is open to all ages. Admission is free.
You will find us in the premises of the queer youth café anyway at Kamekestraße 14, 50672 Cologne. Admission starts at 18:00, the show begins at 19:00. The café will remain open after the show until midnight. Hope to see you all on the evening of March 16!

Poetry Slam
We are delighted to welcome a total of 6 poetry slam artists to the stage. The artists each have up to 6 minutes to present their texts. The audience then votes and awards points. The two audience favorites then compete against each other in the final.

What is anytainment?
Simply put, anytainment is a series of events organized by a group of volunteers at the Jugendcafe anyway. The series is roughly based on the "Open Mic" or "Open Stage" concept. Our aim is to give up-and-coming artists a stage. There is an overarching theme for each show. In the past, we have already had musicians, drag artists and actors on stage. This time it's poetry slam's turn again.

Applicants welcome
Get out your pen and start writing, we are looking for up-and-coming artists!
Artists can get in touch via a DM on Instagram(@anytainmentkoeln) or by email(mail@anytainment-koeln.de). We will then work out all the details together. Please note that we operate as a voluntary project. Applicants aged 14-30 are preferred.
