After a spectacular premiere last year and two events already in 2026, RAKITA is back at its usual spot: On July 11, 2026, we’ll be opening the doors of Toré Mülheim once again and inviting you to be part of this unique event in Cologne.

What to Expect
RAKITA is a feeling. An evening that bridges tradition and the present, memory and reinvention. Here, Anatolian melodies meet electronic beats, indie meets retro vinyl, and the saxophone meets club sounds. People come together to dance, drink, talk, laugh—and reconnect. Whether you’ve already experienced the magic of the first edition or are just discovering RAKITA now: we create an atmosphere that explicitly protects queer people and is open to everyone. We’ve been waiting a long time for this. Now let’s celebrate the summer of 2026 in an unforgettable way under the open sky.

Seated and standing areas
We’ve reviewed your feedback and incorporated it into our plan. Accordingly, we’ll once again be offering two different ticket options.
Seated seating: You’ll have the option to sit at one of the tables. The ticket price includes 1 bottle of rakı, 1 bottle of water, and 1 serving of meze selections. The “Rakı Package” is designed for about 5 people. If you come as a couple, for example, you’ll get to meet 3 new RAKITA friends 😉
Standing room: You’ll have access to the event and can help yourselves at the bar as you please.

Venue and Atmosphere
Toré Mülheim (@tore.cologne), with its beautiful garden at the Kulturbunker Köln-Mülheim (@kulturbunkerkoelnoffiziell), will become our intercultural living room for one evening. A space full of warmth, connection, and love. A space free of racism, sexism—and any form of discrimination. Behavior that does not align with our values will not be tolerated and will result in being asked to leave our space. This includes how you interact with the staff, the Rakita team, and the musicians and DJs. Music requests are welcome, but harassment is an absolute no-go during the musical performance! The music we play has already been carefully and thoughtfully selected. We also aim to offer a diverse musical mix so that the entire diverse RAKITA community is catered to. We cannot accommodate individual requests along the lines of “Play some Erik Dali.”

Since we have ongoing and upfront costs leading up to the event, we cannot refund tickets that have already been purchased this time. The good news is: We’re a community, so there will always be others who can take a ticket off your hands.
It’s still extremely important to us that everyone can really be there. That’s why we’re setting aside a certain number of solidarity tickets.
