"Namibia & Botswana" - Reise-Reportage

For Kai-Uwe Küchler, Africa means wilderness, vastness and a sore heart. Over the course of ten years, the travel photographer has given in to his insatiable longing time and again, exploring the vast natural spaces of Namibia and Botswana by off-road vehicle, on foot, in rickety pirogues and by paraglider. The rocky Namib Desert, the dusty salt pans of Etosha, the endless Kalahari, the wildlife-rich Caprivi Strip, the thundering Victoria Falls and of course the flooded Okavango Delta - the adventures and attractions just don't want to end! The rewards of this unbridled safari passion are breathtaking images and exciting stories of wildlife encounters and travel in Southern Africa. With time-lapse and aerial shots, video sequences and original sounds, Kai-Uwe Küchler brings the muffled trampling of desert elephants and the roar of lions from the national parks, audible for miles around, into the lecture hall. Fortunately, the call of Africa's wildlife becomes audible for the audience as well!
