Eddie, a trumpet-playing elephant, and Georg, the tallest person in the world, live in a very cramped space. They’re constantly butting heads—annoyed, they glance at the empty space next door. But that’s where Saskia, the security snail, reigns supreme, not letting anyone in without permission. As confident as Saskia appears when dealing with the two of them, she is just as vulnerable, because she has no home. And what is a snail without a home? Eddie and Georg sense their chance and hatch a plan.

With humor and lightness, Fayer Koch sheds light on central questions of living together: Why do some have more than others? What is fair? Which boundaries should be broken down, and which rules might we actually need after all?
