THE ACTS:

PROHIBITION PROHIBITION

The four young musicians behind PROHIBITION PROHIBITION walk a fine line between loss of control and threatening apparent silence with their music and thus deal with the somewhat diffuse term "post-punk" in their own way. Their songs, which are created in a small container on the outskirts of the city, combine an engine of drums and bass that rarely has to choose between brute force and complexity, with guitar sounds that wander between sterility and unrecognizability. Literary fragments, philosophical and historical impressions form the basis for the lyrics, which are sometimes coolly narrated, then again as desperate cries for help above it all. A shared understanding of the aesthetics of noise keeps audience and band caught between trance and mosh pits - an appropriate expression for a world coming apart at the seams. (Source: Bandinfo)

INLIER

Since its foundation in 2019, the young band INLIER has made a steadily growing name for itself in the Munich scene through powerful live performances and its innovative soundscape. The latest singles "Hold Me" and "Wasteland" mark an exciting evolution in INLIER's musical catalog. Their sound blurs the lines between electronic and modern rock music. Samples and synthesizers merge with distorted guitars and basses. It is particularly important to them not to see electronic elements merely as "add-ons", but to consciously place them at the center of their music and live shows. (Source: Bandinfo)

DIE GREISLIGEN UHUS

Between dreamy indie and fast punk beats: that's DIE GREISLIGEN UHUS. The five heads from Munich couldn't be more different musically, but it's precisely this mixture that creates a rollercoaster of emotions live. The interplay of emo interludes, melodic guitar riffs and slappy basslines, noise-like soundwalls and energetic drumbeats creates a sound with a unique character. In this way, the Uhus create a varied show that inspires you to feel and dance along. The young band is currently working on their debut EP, which will be released in mid-2024. (Source: band info)

PURE DIRT
Away from the need for perfection. Away from norms. Out of the machine. Sometimes romantic, sometimes bitterly evil, PURE DIRT fires up the audience to process negative emotions in the mosh pit. Detox from everyday life. The four Munich natives move between hard rock, punk and metal. They are often compared to "Rage Against The Machine". The band's narrative is to question the values of the current "smarter, faster, more beautiful society" and to realize that there is no perfection, but that true beauty lies in the "imperfect". They achieve this with their crazy outfits, as well as through the contrast of sweet, almost artificial passages and dirty-aggressive punk and metal riffs. The aim is always to offer the audience the best dance experience, which usually culminates in a mosh pit. To recover from this, the odd ballad is thrown in between. PURE DIRT had their debut concert in November 2021 at the Sprungbrett competition at Feierwerk. They then went on to take first place in the Emergenza semi-final. Since then, Antonella Marek, Fridolin Straubinger, Dominik Straubinger and Max F. Moody have been making all stages in Munich and the rest of Germany unsafe. With their most recently released single "Maschine", they express their frustration with society. The aim of PURE DIRT is to get as many people as possible out of their everyday lives in order to process any stress in the mosh pit. (Source: Bandinfo)
