Due to climate change, the extinction of species and numerous other environmental problems, we as humanity are facing an epochal challenge. Our planet needs us all with all our strength. Through our prayers and our commitment in our religious communities, the university and society, we want to help religions become important players in the fight for greater sustainability. From a global perspective, it is clear that we will only be able to turn the tide and find the strength for the radical new beginning that we need if religions also help. Their influence on people worldwide can hardly be overestimated and their spiritual resources can help us to fight in solidarity, powerfully and persistently for the preservation of our planet. So let's come together from our different faith traditions to stand united for our planet and bring our commitment before God!
