Black composers from three centuries: The Rothko String Quartet presents five interesting personalities from the USA, France and Great Britain. The young ensemble carries voices neglected in the mainstream in its heart - and on stage. The musicians themselves lead through the contrasting program with works ranging from classically elegant to improvisationally free.
