Neighborhood greetings "Christiana", 2025, 1 min.
Social Spot by Manuela Amarante Puerta (director and writer), Victor Gütay (cinematographer)
When Christiana discovers mysterious shadows and strange signals in her neighbor's window, her investigative zeal is awakened. But what if what she sees is not what she thinks?
Traces of Grafeneck, 2024, 89 min.
Documentary film by Nora Mazurek (director, screenwriter and cinematographer), Yvonne Lachmann (director and screenwriter)
In 1940, 10,654 people who were deemed "unworthy of life" by the Nazis were murdered in a gas chamber in Grafeneck within a year. In its play "Hierbleiben... Spuren nach Grafeneck", the inclusive ensemble of the Theater Reutlingen "Die Tonne" (The Tonne) deals with the National Socialist past of the town, which is only 35 kilometers away from Reutlingen, and the film accompanies the creation and performance of the play and provides insights into the different lives and views of the performers.
After the screening, the directors, authors and image designers will talk to the audience about the process of making their films and introduce their film teams.
