Sebastian 23 | Zusammenhaltestelle
In the organizer's words:
Anyone who greets someone with “Good day” these days is already considered a naive smooth-talker and
a utopian dreamer. Many have forgotten that a conversation can be even more enjoyable
than berating complete strangers online. So why not take the risk
to talk to people who have a different opinion than we do? Maybe we’ll learn something and make progress together. Otherwise, we’ll just go home and insult each other online.
Sebastian 23 says far more than just “Hello.” The comedian, poetry slammer, activist, and
bestselling author is presenting his tenth solo show, *Zusammenhaltestelle*. And since I’m a promotional piece, I’ll say it outright: Sebastian 23 quite rightly won the German Cabaret Award in early 2025, has performed on thousands of stages—and hundreds of thousands follow him for his daily satirical posts on social media.
“Zusammenhaltestelle,” however, is more than just a cabaret show—it’s a plea for
optimism, empathy, and the courage to break new ground together. That sounds like
pathos that desperately needs to be deflated with irony. Or is that just a
communication trick? Let’s find out together! The book of the same name, *Zusammenhaltestelle*, will be published in March 2026 by bene-Verlag.
