The band SELFISH MURPHY was founded in 2011.Theirsongwriting always aims to convey the unique spirit of the Celtic and Irish way of life, with the main goal being to capture the atmosphere of an Irish pub. Most of the songs are upbeat and easy to enjoy. The set list includes traditional Irish songs that are widely popular around the world (such as “Drunken Sailor,” “All For Me Grog,” “Leaving of Liverpool,” and “Danny Boy”), performed in a Celtic/Irish punk style. Of course, there are also covers of contemporary hits (such as “Wake Me Up” by Avicii, “Wellerman,” and “Ring of Fire”), adapted into an Irish folk style.
