Breakbeats, low end and concise lyrics - live bass music... the music of Skipback promises all this and is based on legends of the club scene such as The Prodigy, Goldie, Wookie, MJ Cole, Burial, The Bug, Kode9 and many more. Genres such as jungle, garage, dubstep, jazz and hip-hop are fluidly processed and presented as a harmonious live experience.

Yoshi Sukku - an interdisciplinary artist and author between jazz, R&B, ambient, IDM and bass music - will set the right mood and open ears. With a surprising and powerful solo set, he conveys his individual approach to music and life.

Skipback forms a quartet for the first time: The founding duo, consisting of Arthur Kohlhaas (synth/production) and Lukas Heckers (hybrid drums), is joined by pianist Svetlana Marinchenko and MC The Funkologist.

The EP Fractures, released in 2026, offers an insight into the band's sound language. How this then translates live is illustrated in the studio performance for Skanka.
