Sommerfest 2026 zu Goethes 277. Geburtstag

At the Goethe Summer Festival, we’re opening up the entire house and garden for an evening full of discoveries, encounters, and surprises. To mark the tenth anniversary of the Düsseldorf–Palermo city partnership, we are opening the exhibition *Nature and Spirits*. Inspired by Goethe’s drawing of the mysterious “spirit figures” at Villa Palagonia near Palermo, it features contemporary art from Düsseldorf and Palermo.

In the museum and the garden, you can look forward tomusic, literature, art, and performances —featuring special guests, new discoveries, and insights into the highlights of the past and upcoming event seasons. Culinary delights round out the evening.
