STADTKLIMA: TOO HOT TO CHILL?

Too hot to chill out? Then let's take a closer look! Where does the heat shimmer over the asphalt, where do trees provide shade, and how does the summer light change the Nordstadt? Together, young people explore their neighborhood with their cell phone cameras and focus on details that are often overlooked in everyday life: Walls, cobblestones, leaves, water surfaces, light and shadow. It's not about the perfect photo, but about perception, atmosphere and their own view of the urban space. Together we will develop a short film from the resulting images - a visual heat close-up of the Nordstadt. Through image sequences, contrasts and repetitions, an artistic portrait of the summer between heating up and cooling down is created.

The workshop is part of the Stadtklima - Nchbarschaft auf neuen Wegen project and aims to give young people from the neighborhood low-threshold access to culture and ecological sustainability.
