STADTKLIMA: POP-UP-SPACES NORDSTADT

Too hot, too gray, too empty? Then it's time for new ideas! Together, we will take a close look at brownfields and heat islands in the Nordstadt and ask: What could be created here instead? On the first day of the workshop, we will wander through the district, explore forgotten places and capture them in photographs. On the second day, the photographs will become images of the future: Using paint, paper and collage techniques, we transform bare areas into shady oases, lively meeting places and green common areas. What could a climate-adapted neighborhood look like? What places are we missing and what wishes do people in the neighborhood have? Residents, pupils, students and activists who want to rethink Nordstadt and make their visions for a more liveable urban climate visible are invited.

The workshop is part of the Stadtklima - Nchbarschaft auf neuen Wegen project and aims to give young people from the neighborhood low-threshold access to culture and ecological sustainability.
