Stadtrundgang: Die Spur des Geldes
In the organizer's words:
Düsseldorf is the city with the most (income) millionaires in North Rhine-Westphalia. But how does extreme wealth arise, and what does extreme inequality mean for our democracy? During an interactive, approximately 1.5-hour walking tour of symbolic locations along Düsseldorf’s Königsallee, Attac guides will shed light on the world of the ultra-wealthy and the role of banks, the media, and lobbying organizations. We offer insights into how the economy and society function and create space for exchange and discussion about what a just society might look like and what we can do to achieve it.
Meeting point: Corner of Königsallee and Adersstraße, in front of the Pension Insurance high-rise; Graf-Adolf-Platz subway station, lines U 71, 72, 73, 83
